Mahindra Sells 46,130 Units, Registers Growth of 8% in September 2016

Mahindra and Mahindra, India leading SUV maker has registered a positive growth of 8 percent in total sales in September 2016, as compared to the same month last year. The exports grew by 14 percent while major contributors were Scorpio, XUV500, Thar and Bolero. They even expect to have record breaking sales this festive season as their recently launched product Bolero Power Plus would fill in the gaps being made by slower selling Bolero SUV. The evergreen Scorpio is the first choice of many buyers who are looking for a full sized SUV but are on a tight budget.

Maxabout believes that Mahindra Thar, the only affordable and proper off-road vehicle in available in India, is the most exclusive Mahindra SUV of all time. No other manufacturer has a product in the Indian market that could bear such high level of abuse being served on the rough off-road tracks around the country. Not just that, Mahindra even offers two engine options and a 4×2 variant for those who just love driving a classic symbol on the tarmac. Thar is actually one of the most modified cars of India, offering loads of options as accessories.

Mahindra Scorpio is for those who love SUV’s and mostly travel with maximum 5 adult passengers. The last row of seats are good for children while they can be folded for luggage. The Xylo and XUV500 are two such which can carry 7-8 passengers with utmost ease and even return the best in class mileage figures. XUV500 offers wide variety of options like automatic gearbox and AWD on the top spec variants. Mahindra is even working hard on no emission products like E2O, E2O Plus and e-Verito for personal use and e-Supro for commercial use. The KUV100 hatchback even gets the crossover treatment, giving it the feel of being the smallest SUV in the lineup.
